10pm to 10am EST

Our church family has been growing as more people invite friends to come and hear the Word of God.  We have begun a new service at our new housing development to help cope with increasing numbers.  It is wonderful to see leaders who have been trained now fulfilling the positions of worship leader, preacher and pastor at our new service.  This means the responsibility and work load can be shared out empowering others to fill their destiny.
We are very thankful to Nena Meath who has sent us some wonderful children’s resources to help with our Sunday school program.
During the month of March we learned how Jesus grew up and had to learn many things just like us.  He is also the Son of God and we learned about His power through the many miracles He performed.  During the month of April we are learning the Easter story and how much God loves us.  We’d like to say Happy Easter to all our friends and families around the world.
We’ve been blessed this month with many donations including food, milk, rice, finances and much more.  A big thank you to all who support us and if you have any items new or used we can find a use for everything.  We will be closed from 22ndApril till the 6th May so donations will not be able to be dropped off during this period.
Our football team is getting stronger every week and we’re thankful to all our coaches who generously give their time and expertise.  Our under 16 boys took part in a football tournament and received a trophy for coming 4th place.  We are always in need of 2nd hand boot of all sizes and these can be new or used.  It costs 900 Baht per week to rent the field and if you are interested in sponsoring this please email us at
13 of our students have successfully completed our pre school program and are ready to move to Grade 1.  A big thanks to the Mercure Hotel Pattaya who hosted our very first graduation party.  The celebration began with a performance by the children who then received a certificate and a portfolio of their work.  It was a special time for the parents to encourage their child about the achievements they had made.  A big thanks to all our teachers for their dedication and hard work in preparing our children for school.  It was the time to eat, swim and enjoy time together.  A big thanks to the party shop who gave all the children a special helium balloon as an extra reward.
Gruffalo Day
Our children were invited to the St Andrews International School to join the early years classes in a day of fun activity.  The Gruffalo is a well known children’s story book and all the activities were based around this theme.  There were fun games, activities and food but most importantly we made lots of new friends.  If you haven’t read the story of the Gruffalo pop down to your local library and you’re in for a treat.
Kids Club
Every Saturday from 10 – 12 noon we have kids activities where kids can have lots of fun and enjoy a meal also.  We’ve been learning how Jesus was just like us whilst at the same time He is God.  We learned how to be more like Him by loving God and loving people.  We’ve been learning the Easter story through lots of fun crafts which was sent by our friend Nena.  In March we celebrated St George’s day which is the National day for Wales.  A big thanks to Mike and Barbara, our Welsh volunteers who showed us how to make dragons and daffodils.
Hand to Hand is excited to be involved in the Interdisciplinary meetings with Social Welfare, Police, Hospital and other authorities helping to make changes to keep kids safe.  Our team not only attends these meetings but also present information and new ideas.
We are very thankful to all our volunteers and teachers who create a fun learning environment for our kids.  We’ve been learning the alphabet and have learned letter H – M by making crafts, reading, writing and playing games.  We’ve also been learning about animals comparing them according to looks, number of legs and where they live.  These skills are helping us to become future scientists.  We’ve also been doing lots of counting activities in both Thai and English and learnt new songs to help us with this skill.  All our children also learn Thai and are learning to read Thai and write their name in Thai and English.  We learned about St Georges’ day and made dragons and daffodils.
Prison Ministry
Our prison ministry team now has a new Thai leader called Peter.  He is being supported by Mike and to other Peters.  If your name is Peter you consider joining our team.  We are excited to welcome Jules back to our hand to hand team and she will be overseeing the foreign leadership of the ministry.  A big thanks to Shonda and all the ladies who make delicious sandwiches once each month to help with this ministry.
We did the Rotary dream box at schools No 3 and 5 with over 100 students seeing their dreams come true.  It’s always very humbling with all the wishes being things we would consider as everyday needs.  Students received prizes such as stationery packs, uniforms, milk and spectacles.
Rugby School Visit
Our friends from the grade 3 class at the Rugby school came to visit us.  It was a great day of learning and playing together and making new friends.  We were thankful for their generous donation of milk for our monthly appeal.
Slum Ministry
Every week we feed 77 families in the slums of Pattaya.  A big thanks to On and Peter who lead this ministry and for all the volunteers and those who donate to make this ministry possible.  It’s more than just giving food as these people look forward to the love and friendship which is shared.
St Patrick's Day Bangkok
Hand to Hand was invited to the Irish Shinndig to celebrate St Patricks day with people from the embassy and businesses.  We had a wonderful time and met some people who want to help us in the future.
St Patrick's Day Parade - Pattaya
Hand to Hand went green to join the St Patrick's day parade in Pattaya.  We decorated our truck as a float and joined the parade spreading love joy and cheer as we went.  A big thanks to all who donated as we collected 8,642 Baht in our collection boxes on the day.
A big thanks to Bosch who donated power tools and materials for us to continue to make new furniture and also build an additional covered shade area in front of the new houses. This will be completed by mid May.
A big thanks to Imran from the Forrest View Church in Canada who visited us and helped us with our projects.  Imran was a huge blessing to us and we hope to meet up again soon.
